Bob Pike has been developing training and performance improvement programs since 1969. He has written more than 20 books including the best-selling book for trainers The Creative Training Techniques™ Handbook, which is currently in its third edition. He is a pioneer of the participant-centred approach which forms the basis of the boot camp,

Who are the Trainers?

There are currently two certified trainers for the Train-the-Trainer Boot Camp is Australia.

Marc Ratcliffe
Marc is the founder of MRWED Training and Assessment and has been involved in Vocational Education for almost 20 years. His commitment to innovative teaching practice and a genuine love for engaging learning has enabled him to transform MRWED into one of Australia’s largest providers of trainer training. He has been delivering Certificate IV courses since 1997, (which includes the Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and its predecessors). Further to this, he has delivered training to more than 5000 students in areas as diverse as business management, health and safety, marketing, team building and training and development. This experience includes conducting over 250 Certificate IV courses in the last 10 years. He is a Registered Teacher and has completed a Master in Education specialising in Adult and Workplace Education. Marc won a personal accolade in 2009 by being named as one of the Top 10 Young Trainers in the World by US Training Magazine.

Jason Ash
Jason is a dynamic trainer who has had more than 10 years of experience in training and assessment. He is participant-centred trainer who has gained impressive results in corporate environments specialising in sales, communication, coaching and management training. During this time Jason has also developed online training programs and has been involved in the development of training material to meet client focuses and increase profitability.

Since moving to Brisbane to extend his training career, Jason has completed both a Certificate IV in Training and Assessment and a Diploma of Training and Assessment through MRWED and is excited about sharing that experience with others. Jason won MRWED Trainer of the Year for 2010 and 2011, as voted by students. He also won best young trainer of the year (male) at the LearnX Awards in 2011.
